25 questions on the story shared by novel and musical. Five deeper questions explicitly marked “In the novel” concern Hugo’s book alone.
The musical
25 questions on songs, dramatic functions and production history. The default is the English-language stage musical; historical questions identify the relevant production.
One point per correct answer, no penalty for mistakes. Your badge is based on the percentage correct in the completed round.
Song titles are kept in English for clear identification. No song lyrics are reproduced.
